Geoffrey Jackson, Willow Howard, and TJ Peterman were selected for the Texas Music Educators All State Band. These students will rehearse with other band members from across the state and present a special concert on February 13th in San Antonio. These students are to be congratulated for this amazing accomplishment.
All students are required to perform a solo at the UIL contest on February 6th. Most wind solos require a piano accompaniment. Students will be able to use a school pianist for $30.00. This fee will include 2 rehearsals and the performance at Hays HS. The fee will be paid on the first day the student rehearses with the pianist. Students will begin practicing with the pianist the week of January 18th.
