All bands that participated in the Soundwaves Music Festival earned Straight Ones on May 15.  In addition, every band earned "Best in Class" recognition.

The DSMS Concert Band and Beginning Maroon band will present their Spring Concert at the High School on Tuesday, May 11.  The DSMS Symphonic Band and Beginning Gold Band will present their Spring Concert at the High School on Thursday, May 13.  Both concerts begin at 7:00.
The new school year is quicky approaching.  Hopefully, we've all been keeping our musicianship in shape over the summer.  Keep working on those scales!  It's going to be a great year!
All Symphonic Band members have chosen two ensembles time and are encouraged to check the Google Calendar for dates.  Please help remind each other of these rehearsals as times are limited for rescheduling if a member is absent.
