My name is Brittany Marino, and I look forward to providing a musical experience for you.
I grew up in the Hill Country of Texas, where I now live with my husband, and sweet baby. For the last 7 years, I have taught music to children of all ages, and performed as a professional musician for various events. I received my undergraduate degree in Music Education from Texas Lutheran University, where I studied both flute and voice. Following graduation, I worked for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Having experienced the magic of working for Disney, I put that influence into the music classroom, providing an engaging and magical space for students to learn. Over the course of three years, I completed my Kodály Certification. In that time I was privileged to work with renowned pedagogs, and other prominent music educators. This methodology provides a cognitive approach to teaching music, but also provides many approaches to learning music! My students have found great success with this approach. I have had students perform in the TMEA Region Ensembles(in flute and voice), as well as the OAKE National Choirs. Whatever a student’s goal may be, I am here to help!
